The beauty of Japanese scenery around us is showcased in fifty slideshows set to classical music, offering a walk through shifting landscapes.

The Japanese archipelago is blessed with a rich diversity of environments, defined by clear waters, vibrant natural colors, and distinct seasonal changes. Water reflections create a kaleidoscope of scenery, and the translucent sunlit leaves form a natural stained glass window in seasonal colors.

The photos span from the scenic rural landscapes to the sprawling metropolis of Tokyo. While Tokyo is a bustling city, it can also be viewed as a massive nest built by human beings on the Earth. In that sense, Tokyo’s cityscapes are another extension of nature.

The title and composer of the music are shown for the original version.

The Japanese cursive script on the website is Kozan Brush Font Sosho.

The website title was changed from "Earth's Scenery in Japan" to "View of Nature in Japan" in January, 2026.
