The Japanese archipelago is blessed with a rich diversity of environments, defined by clear waters, vibrant natural colors, and seamless seasonal changes. Water reflections create a kaleidoscope of scenery, while the translucent sunlit leaves form natural stained glass in seasonal hues.

The photos span from the scenic rural landscapes in Hokkaido and Kyushu to the sprawling cityscapes of the Greater Tokyo Area. This metropolis is a massive nest built by humans, seen as extensions of the Earth's nature.
